Citrus Cream Sauce Penne Pasta

The creamy citrus sauce for this dish comes together in minutes, thanks to our Citrus Chardonnay Organic Sauce. With grilled chicken and asparagus this quick spring pasta is a complete meal. Add this entrée it to your weeknight rotation or serve it for a special at home date night dinner.

Citrus Cream Sauce Penne Pasta



  • 1/2 lb. Penne pasta, cooked and lightly oiled
  • 2 Tbsp. Unsalted butter
  • 1 bunch Asparagus tips
  • 1/2 medium Red onion, French-cut
  • 1/3 cup White wine
  • 2 Tbsp. Orange juice
  • 1/4 cup Heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup Robert Rothschild Farm Citrus Chardonnay Sauce
  • 1 cup Chicken, grilled and sliced


Heat butter in a large sauté pan over high heat. Add asparagus and red onions; sauté for 1 minute. Add wine and orange juice, allow to simmer for 1 minute. Stir in cream and Citrus Chardonnay Sauce. Reduce sauce until desired thickness is reached. Serve over pasta, top with grilled chicken. Enjoy!
